Watch: Rihanna’s Dramatic Gold Skirt Suit Set for Paris Fashion Week Is Exactly What You Came For
Rihanna has something on the brain, but it doesn’t appear to be love.
After EJ Johnson—the middle child of Magic Johnson and Cookie Johnson—shaded the Anti artist for allegedly showing up late to a Dior show during Paris Fashion Week, Rihanna has clapped back.
In a video circulating on social media, EJ can be seen posing for paparazzi outside their hotel before trying to enter the building with their team—only for the way to be blocked by hotel staff.
As for what Rihanna made of the moment? The 38-year-old kept it succinct with a simple, “Damn.”
Her comment soon gained tens of thousands of likes.
Prior to Rihanna’s comment on the Oct. 3 video, EJ recapped their time at the Dior show on Sept. 29 in a vlog shared to Instagram. Within the clip, EJ revealed the “Umbrella” artist allegedly made a fashionably late arrival to the brand’s debut of the Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2027 collection.
“We just left the Dior show, getting out of there was crazy but the show itself was beautiful,” the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills alum said in the vlog. “It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late and, you know, like, we didn’t care to wait for her, but the show was beautiful nonetheless.”
And though Rihanna herself didn’t comment on this particular post, a loyal fan of hers shared a GIF which shows the Grammy winner looking affronted while rolling up a car window.

But despite the apparent shade, Rihanna appears to be having a fabulous time in the City of Love for this year’s fashion week.
For her first PFW event, Rihanna—mom to kids RZA, 4, Riot, 3, and Rocki, 12 months, with partner A$AP Rocky—attended the Matières Fécales RTW Spring/Summer 2027 show on Sept. 28 where she looked as beautiful as diamonds in the sky in a tinseled gold skirt and matching jacket.
She styled the Cecile Feilchenfeldt-knitted number with a black bustier, matching heels by Christian Louboutin and a gold choker necklace.
The following day, when she stepped out for the Dior show, Rihanna opted for a much more colorfully understated, all-black look.
The ensemble saw the “Rude Boy” singer dressed in an oversized black coat, lace camisole, black sunglasses and matching heels—allowing her 100-carats worth of diamond jewelry from Chopard to take center stage.
