Watch: RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose Reveals Where She and Justin Rose Stand Amid Divorce
When it comes to chatter about Meredith Marks‘ hair, she’s finally engaging in the conversation.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star addressed rumors about her newly refreshed appearance after costar Whitney Rose accidentally let it slip in a recent confessional that Meredith has been wearing fake hair following her latest facelift.
After one Bravo fan questioned on Threads, “Do we know why Meredith is wearing a wig? They keep going in on a situation that she may not have chosen. This might be body-shaming,” Meredith revealed the truth in a fiery clap back.
“Let me be clear,” the 54-year-old replied Oct. 8. “I have no visible scars to hide. My doctor is excellent.”
As far as her new hairdo is considered, she added, “And no, they do not know why I am wearing a wig. I did not share that information.”
While Meredith didn’t elaborate on the real reason she’s opted for a hairpiece as of late, plenty of fans reacted with their hypotheses.
“People have been wearing wigs for centuries, who cares,” one Threads user reacted. “You look fantastic and it’s an incredibly well made wig. No one needs a reason for your follicle choices.”
Another replied, “I bought 4 toppers they have changed my life with thinning hair and a stressful life!!”
Whatever the reason may be, Meredith couldn’t be happier with her decision to go under the knife just a month before filming for season seven began earlier this year.

As the DJ quipped during the reality series’ recent Sept. 23 episode, “Seeing some of these women today is more painful than my facelift recovery.”
“I’m happy, I love it,” Meredith later told Bravo Insider. “Maybe fans will be more surprised that I’m honest about it. That’s probably the bigger surprise.”
And when it comes to the haters, Meredith is disengaging in any of the negativity.

“At the end of the day, I did it for me, and I’m thrilled with my decision,” she told Marie Claire in an interview published Sept. 23. “I literally squeezed the facelift into the middle of my tour, and the surgery was only four weeks before filming the season. I didn’t want to look like a different person. I just wanted to look refreshed, and I feel like I do. I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m really happy with the outcome, and my recovery was so easy.”
See the chatter about Meredith’s new look continue when The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
