Watch: Kim Kardashian Reveals What She Loves About Daughter North West, 13, in Rare Joint Video
All North West wants for Christmas is a rare animal—and Kim Kardashian is not fawning over the idea.
Indeed, the 13-year-old revealed she hopes to find a baby deer under the tree, detailing why the animal has come to mean a lot to her.
“I want a fawn, guys,” North said in a recent TikTok Live alongside Kim, which was reshared on social media. “I’ll tell you guys what my fawn means.”
“Like a mascot, and I’ve been wearing it,” she continued. “Their name is Kiyomi-san, and Kiyomi just means ‘special’ in Japanese, or, like, ‘soft’ or ‘pure.’”
And while Kim—who also shares kids Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, with ex Kanye West—loves her daughter deer-ly, she didn’t hesitate to chime in to share how she feels about the teen’s Christmas list item.
Rolling her eyes, the SKIMS founder noted, “I’ll forever give this face.”
But North emphasized that she didn’t choose any fawn as her mascot—which Kim noted she features in her merchandise—but a black fawn, a rare baby deer born with a black coat caused by a genetic mutation.
“I did a black fawn because it’s just a rare, pure animal,” she explained, “and everybody shoots at it for no reason, even that it’s the purest animal, and people don’t really understand fawns like that. That’s why it’s my mascot.”
And, of course, at the top of her holiday wish list.
“Yep,” Kim added, “She wants a pet fawn for Christmas.”
It seems that according to North, it’s totally doe-able, telling the camera, “It’s just one Christmas gift.”
But her mom noted there’s actually another item on her list.
“Remember what you said, ‘I only want two Christmas gifts,’” Kim told her daughter with a laugh. “That was so funny. I told Khloe [Kardashian] what you said.”
While North didn’t share whether or not one of Santa’s reindeer might do, she’s been telling critics to buck off when it comes to her expressing herself through her unique personal style, which has included piercings, dark clothing and blue hair.

After all, in the same livestream—during which the “Aishite” singer wore a long blue wig, bridge piercings, fake lashes and black grills—she clapped back at negative comments about her appearance.
“Stop saying I’m demonic just because I like to dress this way,” North told the camera. “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”
And through it all, her mom will continue to support her daughter as she experiments with different styles.
“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,'” Kim shared on Call Her Daddy in October 2025. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”
