Watch: Khloe Kardashian Reveals Whether She’d Ever Join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Khloe Kardashian wants fans to keep up with her family’s statement about AI.
After The Kardashians star and her fam received criticism for using artificial intelligence in an apparent anti-AI message in their show’s season eight intro she responded to detractors online, indicating fans simply weren’t seeing the full picture.
“WATCH UNTIL THE END,” Khloe wrote in an Oct. 8 Instagram post alongside a clip of the scene. “Seeing people comment while only watching the first few seconds is frustrating but also typical these days.”
ICYMI, the Good American founder, her sisters—Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner—and their mom Kris Jenner began the eighth season of their Hulu reality show by proving their family can’t be “replaced” by AI.
The episode began with believable versions of the women being featured in different scenes around the world, including Kris, 70, lounging on a yacht in the South of France; Kourtney, 47, enjoying a matcha with husband Travis Barker in Japan; Khloe, 42, cruising on an African safari; Kendall, 30, and Kylie, 29, at a fancy party in Versailles; and Kim, 45, skiing at a Swiss ski chalet.
After Kim received a message from her mom to return home for the Kardashians premiere, the “family” all reunited in Calabasas, where they began experiencing bizarre events with their appearances—from Kourtney’s face turning into a thumb with a red nail to Kylie growing a tail.
It’s then, the real Kardashians entered the room, with deepfake Kris arguing that AI version of their show would be easier to film. But the actual Kardashian-Jenner ladies weren’t going to let that fly.
“I don’t know who you think you’re talking to,” Kris told the faux fam. “But this real family—real family—cannot be replaced.”
“We don’t need AI when we have this reality,” Kim emphasized, to which Khloe added, “I think it’s time for these AI b–chs to go.”
After the Revenge Body star pressed the “kill switch,” saying goodbye to the AI versions of herself and her sisters, Kourtney stated, “AI could never replace us.”
And though Khloe spoke out following the mixed reaction to the intro scene, many fans expressed that still didn’t understand why they still used AI—even as a joke—to make the statement against it.
“I started confused and ended confused,” a user commented on Khloe’s video, while another wrote, “but what’s the point you guys still made a 2 minute Ai video, that statement could’ve been said any other way.”
That said, others enjoyed the sequence, with one fan writing, “I was so disappointed at first until i realized this was actually brilliant.”
