Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake’s Son Makes Acting Debut

“We’re just kind of letting him take his time,” she explained, “and see what happens and what he really gets interested in.”

Silas’ acting debut aside, The Better Sister star is just happy to have scored a few mom points when she brought him and Phineas to set to spend time with one of their biggest role models: Cena. 

“I feel like their brains implode whenever they come to set, especially a set like this, where there’s a hero of theirs that they’re meeting,” she mused. “There’s cool action sequences, there’s fight sequences.”

And while Silas got to have a part in the making of the film, Biel was thrilled her younger son was still enchanted by the effects. 

“He was like, ‘Is this real? Is this not real? John just got punched and he fell on the ground,’” Biel recalled. “It’s just a lot of confusion. My 11-year-old is like, ‘I know what this is,’ but the 6-year-old is still like, ‘What’s happening here? Cannot compute.’”

Meanwhile, the Sinner actress was well overdue for admiration from her kids, especially considering she previously admitted that Timberlake was considered the “cool” parent. 

“They think Justin’s kind of cool, because the music element, and like he’s Daddy,” she lamented during an appearance on The Tonight Show last year. “I am so lame to them.”
