Watch: Love Is Blind’s Jax Reveals Real Reason She Dumped Stew—and It Wasn’t Just His Looks
Jacqueline “Jax” Guelli wasn’t exactly feeling like Jackie O on Love Is Blind.
The skincare mogul shocked viewers when she dumped Scott “Stew” Stewart just moments after they met in person following their engagement on season 11.
While the Netflix show suggested it came down to his appearance—with her saying he looked more like Mitt Romney than his self-proclaimed celebrity lookalike John F. Kennedy—Jax is setting the record straight about what really made her call off their engagement.
“There was a lot going on that you don’t see,” Jax told E! News in an exclusive interview. “It was very black and white how it was showed.”
But, in reality, Jax said there “started to be cracks” in her relationship with Stew well before they saw each other for the first time.
“The proposal in the pods, I was like, ‘That didn’t feel right,'” the 31-year-old explained. “Then I was like, ‘But OK, I don’t blame him. Proposing is probably not easy to do, especially here.'”
So, she continued on with the experiment, hoping her feelings would click into place.
“I went forward, and I wanted it to be like an aha moment, like, ‘OK, now all is well. We have real time chemistry and connection,'” Jax shared. “And it just was not there for me. And unfortunately, I panicked and I left.”

Not only did she leave Love Is Blind, but she also left Stew in the dust with no explanation—a move she now regrets.
“I definitely regret handling it that way. It’s completely immature,” she confessed. “I didn’t even know I was making mistake in the moment because I was so overwhelmed. Usually I can think through my thoughts. I just lost control of my emotions, and all I knew was to go home.”
And the entrepreneur insists her reaction wasn’t a reflection of her former fiancé.
“Truly, it had nothing to do with him as a person,” she added. “It was more of my connection, and I was like, ‘Something just doesn’t feel right, and I just got to go home.'”
