Watch: Amanda Batula Leaving ‘Summer House’ After West Wilson Dating Scandal
As far as summers in the Hamptons go, Ben Waddell is a one-and-done.
The Australian Bachelor alum is leaving Summer House after just one season, multiple outlets confirmed.
Ben joined the Bravo reality series earlier this year as a freshman full-time cast member for season 10.
While the model entered the share house single, he quickly found himself back in love and in a committed relationship with his ex Sabrina Belle, who appeared in several episodes as Ben’s girlfriend.
And though his time in the Hamptons was brief, Ben certainly made a splash after fellow season 10 newbie Bailey Taylor drew attention to his pre-show friendship with Amanda Batula. Indeed, she made an awkward joke about their perceived chemistry—in front of the whole cast, including Amanda’s then-husband Kyle Cooke (Amanda and Kyle confirmed their breakup after four years of marriage in January).
Amanda then told Sabrina about the comment Bailey made in regard to Ben wanting to “f–k” Amanda, causing Ben to spiral over fears the “really off comment” would cause trouble in their newly rekindled relationship.
“Sabrina’s now upset,” the 39-year-old relayed to his costars during the show’s April 7 episode of Amanda’s gossiping. “Why are you saying that this guy I really like, he’s in love with you, not me? What are you doing? It’s really frustrating because I was really happy that they were getting along so well. I want my friends to get along, I have a great relationship with Amanda and Kyle. Now, this is all f–king awkward.”
Of course, all of this drama was before the entire cast found out about Amanda’s secret romance with West Wilson—a.k.a. the ex of Amanda’s then-BFF Ciara Miller.

With the fallout from Amanda and West’s bombshell dating announcement irreparably changing the friend group dynamics for good, both Amanda, 34, and West, 31, recently departed Summer House ahead of season 11, which is scheduled to begin filming around the Fourth of July holiday.
“I wanted to tell it on my own but that is true,” West—who joined Summer House in 2024 during season eight—confessed during the June 24 episode of the Broadcast Boys podcast. “But in their defense, I don’t think it would have been a fun summer.”

With Ben now joining Amanda and West on the outs, Bravo has yet to confirm which of the other season 10 cast members—including Ciara, Kyle, Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard and Jesse Solomon as well as fellow newbies Bailey, KJ Dillard, Bailey Taylor, Mia Calabrese, Dara Levitan and Levi Sebree—will be returning for season 11.
