North West Joins Kanye West & His Wife Bianca Censori for Rare Outing

Kim and Kanye—who additionally share kids Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7—have also been North’s biggest fans as she begins her music career, with the exes recently supporting the teen at her first headline concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago in September. 

But that doesn’t mean Kim hasn’t kept some boundaries with her eldest when it comes to North’s fame aspirations.

“I do worry about it. Each kid does what they’re comfortable with,” the Karadashians star told The Times in an interview published Oct. 3. “So, my little ones come around when I’m filming, but they don’t really do storylines.”

“North loves it a little bit more than the rest,” she continued. “I hold her back. All she wants to do is forward-facing projects.”

Kim—who hard-launched her romance with Lewis Hamilton in June—emphasized that she and West want to embrace as much of North’s childhood as possible while still exploring her interests.

“It’s like us really kind of trying to savor those moments,” she explained, “and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way.”

When it comes to North—who released her debut EP N0rth4evr in May—Kim noted that her passions are more in Kanye’s wheelhouse.

“With her, since it’s more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about,” she added. “We make sure that we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve.”
