With Nintendo Switch Sports Resort right around the corner, Nintendo has released a seven-minute overview trailer to showcase all of the exciting things that await on Wuhu Island.

Aside from introducing the game’s 12 sports (many of which will be familiar to anyone who played the last series entry), the trailer also showcases a bunch of the game’s single-player content, including simpler game modes, Island Crown challenges, free roam collectibles and more.

The thing that got us really excited, though, was the closer look at the game’s character customisation options (something that was limited to online play in the Switch predecessor). This time around, you’ll earn points in every game you play, which can then be spent in the store to doll up your avatars as you see fit.

It all looks really rather good. You’ll find our hands-on impressions of everything we’ve seen from the game so far below.
