“The field is calling…” Netflix has revealed a new trailer for MLB at Field of Dreams, their upcoming live stream of the next game being played at the iconic Field of Dreams baseball field in Iowa. Baseball fans are already familiar with this place, as the very first inaugural game was played back in 2021. Back in 2020, MLB decided to build an actual, functioning baseball stadium at the same exact farm field location featured in the classic 1989 baseball movie Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner, Amy Madigan, James Earl Jones. They went all out and did it just right, and now they’re playing games at this park once a year. Coming up in August 2026 is the next live MLB game which Netflix is now airing. MLB takes the field at the iconic Field of Dreams ballpark in Dyersville, Iowa, as the Philadelphia Phillies face the Minnesota Twins. Inspired by the classic 1989 film, the ballpark brings one of baseball’s most beloved stories to life. “If you build it, they will come.” And indeed they will return again – to keep on playing more ball in the cornfields. It’s actually pretty rad that they keep this tradition going and it wasn’t just a one time thing and that’s it. ⚾🇺🇸 Ready to watch?

The 2026 MLB at Field of Dreams baseball game special event will feature the All-Star outfielder Byron Buxton and the Minnesota Twins taking on eight-time All-Star and two-time MVP Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies. Streaming live from Dyersville, Iowa, on August 13th, 2026, MLB brings a regular season game to the iconic Field of Dreams movie set for the first time in four years. The first game at this ballpark was held on August 12th, 2021, with the Chicago White Sox defeating the New York Yankees. This next third game at the ballpark in Iowa will air live on Netflix to watch August 13th, 2026 this summer. This place was constructed in 2021 for its first game. Hosted in Dyersville, Iowa, near the filming location of the titular 1989 baseball movie. The field first constructed for the film, which has been operated as a tourist destination since 1989, could not be brought to MLB game standards without permanently altering major features of the property and destroying its movie authenticity, so it was decided to build a separate playing facility 500 ff in the cornfields. The design of the ballpark pays homage to the White Sox’ home from 1910 to 1990, Comiskey Park, including the shape of the outfield and the bullpens. Has anyone been to these games?
