Giuliana Rancic isn’t crying over spilled milk.

But she is planning on sharing her side. Days after Jerry O’Connellsaid he broke up with the former E! News anchor more than two decades ago when she showed up at his home unannounced, she addressed his recollection.

“Have you guys heard? Apparently, my ex-boyfriend has been talking about our breakup publicly after 22 years,” Rancic—who was lounging on a yacht drinking a pink cocktail—began her July 23 Instagram video. “Hmm, imagine that. And it seems that his memory is just a little fuzzy.”

She noted that amid her vacation, her “email’s been blowing up” with requests for comment after the Stand By Me actor—who tied the knot with Rebecca Romijn in 2007—shared the story on Kelly Ripa‘s SiriusXM show Let’s Talk Off Camera.

“I could give two sentences like, ‘Blah, blah, blah, I wish him all the best,'” Rancic, 51, continued, “or I could just take a deep dive and make it a 40-minute podcast.”

The Fashion Police alum tapped her ex—whom she dated from 2003 to 2004—to join her and her husband of 18 years Bill Rancic on their eponymous podcast.

“Jerry, you are so invited,” she concluded while taking a sip of her drink. “We’d love to have you. See you next week.”

As for what O’Connell told Ripa about their former romance?

“I broke up with her through an intercom because Giuliana Rancic came to my condominium,” he said on the July 19 episode of Let’s Talk Off Camera. “I was not expecting Giuliana Rancic to come to said condominium.”

It was bound to be a messy altercation since O’Connell—who dated Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell after his split from Rancic—admitted that there was another woman in his home at the time.

“I said, ‘I did not know you were coming. You can’t come here unannounced,'” he continued. “Notice no one had a key, so the relationship was not like that. There was no warning, and I didn’t want someone coming in because I didn’t want any confrontation.”

As for how Rancic remembers it, she shared a glimpse into their breakup in her 2016 memoir Going Off Script, in which she said that as O’Connell broke up with her, he said, “Nope, sorry home girl, things change, but you take care, OK?”

Although O’Connell admitted that he doesn’t remember the exact wording of their conversation, he conceded that he wasn’t the best partner.

“Let me take this moment to apologize to Giuliana Rancic for being a terrible boyfriend,” he said during his chat with Ripa. “I was just a bad boyfriend. I was just not a great boyfriend.”
