EB Games Is Opening North America’s First-Ever Nintendo “Store-Within-A-Store” Experience

EB Games Canada has this week announced it’s bringing a new Nintendo retail experience to its flagship location in Toronto.

It’s opening a Nintendo space at the EB Games store, located at 267 Yonge Street. According to the PR, this is “Nintendo’s first-ever store-within-a-store in North America”. Experiences similar to this have previously been opened in other parts of the world.

This new Nintendo experience will be open at 10am on 17 October 2026, and is a “permanent, 1,500-square-foot space” filled with Nintendo games, characters and worlds.

“The Nintendo space at EB Games will feature Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and software, playable games at demo systems, Nintendo-themed displays, merchandise and photo opportunities. The space will also offer a selection of My Mario merchandise, some of which will be available exclusively at the Nintendo space at EB Games in Canada.

“Together, the offerings will create a one-of-a-kind destination for longtime Nintendo fans, families and anyone looking to discover what’s new from Nintendo.”

Nintendo of Canada VP & GM Susan Pennefather says this space is an “incredible place to explore what’s new” in the world of Nintendo, and is excited to bring this concept to North America for the first time.

To celebrate this new experience, EB Games is also hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the store’s opening.
