Watch: ‘RHOBH’ Alum Brandi Glanville Is Getting Surgery to Find Out What’s “Eating” Her Face
Brandi Glanville is ready for answers amid her ongoing medical crisis.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared that she’ll be undergoing exploratory surgery to learn more about what she thinks are “facial parasites” in her face.
“Something is in my face eating it,” Glanville said on the Oct. 8 episode of her Unfiltered podcast. “I’m pretty sure there’s some sort of worm living in my face.”
However, the 53-year-old said doctors believe she’s suffering from a fungus that has left her with a benign tumor near her jaw.
“Funguses are alive as well, but it’s going down my body,” Glanville continued, adding that surgeons will hopefully go through her eustachian tubes—small canals made of bone and cartilage that connect the middle ears to the back of the nose and upper throat—and “clear that out so that everything can drain.”
“These last four years, I didn’t think I was gonna make it,” she added. “But I’m excited to just get my life back.”
Glanville has been open about how the medical ordeal has taken a toll on her personal life, including the 18-hour IV regimen she undergoes daily.
“I can’t eat because the things I do decreases my food,” she shared in a Sept. 6 Instagram video, which showed her preparing her IV infusions. “I feel like death. I look like death.”
In a follow-up video posted the following day, the former Bravo star said she medical workers told her that they found “something alive” in her face and “it was moving.”

“I want to cut my face open and just take it out,” she said. “But can’t do that, so now I have to start my IVs.”
But, according to Glanville, the treatments so far have yielded “very little improvement.”
“Even with insurance, this is costing me $3,300–$6K a month and I’m barely able to work. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this mentally or financially,” she wrote on X last month. “I know I don’t look good. I don’t care, I feel terrible. This is my reality.”
