Watch: Bhad Bhabie Reveals She’s Working on Getting Her Nursing License
Bhad Bhabie is ready to do some good.
The internet star (real name Danielle Bregoli), who rose to prominence for her 2016 appearance on Dr. Phil before pursuing a rap career, shared that she is training to enter the medical field.
“They said I’m rich and bored,” Danielle wrote in an Oct. 11 post on X, alongside selfies of herself sporting medical scrubs. “I been working on getting my nursing license. I love the med field.”
The 23-year-old’s update comes just months after she shared she was still not out of the woods amid her ongoing cancer journey.
“Bad news from my doctor yesterday,” Danielle—mom to daughter Kali, 2, with fiancé Le Vaughn—wrote on X in February, although maintaining positive spirits adding, “god has the last say so not my cancer.”
Later, she assured she was making the best of a bad hand, writing in a subsequent post, “I’m not suppose to feel pretty because of my cancer ? Ok smh.”
The “Gucci Flip Flops” singer—who went viral for her “catch me outside” catchphrase on Dr. Phil—first shared her cancer diagnosis back in 2024, slamming critics who asked her to address her weight loss.”
“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,” Danielle wrote at the time. “I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running with the worst narratives.”
Meanwhile, Danielle’s mother Barbara Bregoli stepped up to defend her against comments who claimed her diagnosis was “karma.”
“Let me say this, social media has become an app where people think they can come on here and say the most vile things,” Barbara said in an Instagram video at the time, “and think it’s funny because they’re hiding behind a screen.”

Indeed, the 58-year-old called the internet trolls piling onto her daughter “low form.”
She continued, “That’s the lowest form of anything. Babies don’t ask to get cancer, little children don’t ask to get cancer, the elderly don’t ask to get—nobody asks to get cancer.”
And Barbara emphasized that what goes around just might come around.
“Don’t come on here with your balls so mighty saying, ‘Oh, yeah that’s your karma,’ because it just might be yours,” she added. “Don’t ever say something about someone unless you’ve experienced it. Let me tell you something, play with me every day. Don’t come after my kid. Don’t come after my family.”
While Danielle’s foray into nursing might be more personal, she isn’t the only star to pick up a normal job. Keep reading for more celebrities who have clocked in for regular work…
