“Mom – you didn’t tell me WE’RE witches?!” Disney revealed the main official trailer for the next exciting Disney Animation creation titled Hexed, arriving in theaters starting late November 2026 next month. An all-new magical coming-of-age saga – this original story is officially Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 65th animated feature in their illustrious history. And it looks like tons of fun for everyone! An awkward teen and her Type-A mother learn that her peculiarities might be magical powers, taking them together deep into the World of Witches. Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones lead the voice cast along with Tracey Ullman, who’s the voice of enchanted feather quill pen Ms. Quill, Stephen Fry as the magical journal named Elias Quire, Jodie Foster as Queen Celeste the villainous queen of the witches, and Walton Goggins as Beef Roger Crumbchuck, a three-eyed green cat (seen above). Director Jason Hand adds: “Hexe is a place where Billie begins to feel seen for the first time in her life. She embarks on a journey of self-discovery that reveals a powerful connection to magic, and in the process uncovers long-held secrets about her own family.” This looks so bright and amusing and empowering, even if it’s borrowing some ideas from other Disney classics.
