Watch: Why Harry Jowsey Says He Shouldn’t Have Done Let’s Marry Harry Series
Getting married may have been too much for Harry Jowsey to handle.
Following his breakup with wifeAmber Mozo after the end of his series Let’s Marry Harry, the reality star realized that maybe he shouldn’t have done the Netflix show in the first place.
“Watching it back, I was not ready,” Jowsey admitted on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast Oct. 6. “I was so not ready for any of that.”
Especially because the 29-year-old filmed the series so close to his father Paul Jowsey’s death in December 2024.
“That close to grief and that close to losing my dad, I shouldn’t have been like, ‘Oh yeah, time to get married, let’s do a show,’” he reflected. “But also, who am I to say no to a massive show like that and an opportunity where all these people are pouring love and energy into me and to try to make the best show possible?”
And while it’s easy to see how unprepared he was for the show in hindsight, at the time he thought he was ready thanks “to a huge f–king juggernaut of a machine behind you making this show.”
As he saw, “If they think I’m ready, surely I’m ready, and I’m good to go.”
Jowsey recalled how he almost wished he could have asked the crew to cut the cameras when he was having a particularly bad day, but realized the show was “everything I’ve manifested.”

“I thought I was ready. And I’m like, the universe has got me. My dad’s got me. Everything’s good,” he explained. “In those moments, I think I’m always trying to convince myself that I’m ready and convince the audience ‘cause I believed in that time that I was ready.”
And now that he’s taking time to really look back at the series—which he said took almost a year to premiere, ending with his marriage to Mozo—he realized how much better he’s doing these days with his new girlfriend, whose identity he hasn’t publicly revealed.
“To see the version of myself when I was going through that and to know the version of myself where I’m at now with my relationship and love. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I just needed to go through that,’” Jowsey said. “I needed to make the mistakes. I needed to learn.”
Still, that’s not to say his life after the show has been without drama, especially as Mozo claimed the Too Hot to Handle alum wasn’t invested in their relationship after the cameras stopped rolling.

“You told everyone you wanted to be a husband and then you get off the cameras,” she told Jowsey at the Let’s Marry Harry reunion that premiered in August, “then you want to act like a f–king pig and play in my face.”
The 30-year-old claimed Jowsey’s relationship with a “big influencer” was a point of contention on their Australian honeymoon, saying, “He was prioritizing being with this person and filming then pushed me to the side and then made as if it was my problem.”
“I don’t enjoy being in a marriage where I’m gaslit, manipulated and emotionally abused,” she said. “I f–king ran for the hills once I saw what you were about when the cameras cut.”
For his part, Jowsey denied the accusation of emotional abuse, but did agree their trip to Australia was a breaking point, adding that the show’s producers asked him to avoid public outings with Mozo before the show aired.
“We weren’t seeing eye-to-eye in Australia. We just weren’t connecting; that was the biggest thing,” he explained. “We just realized we probably weren’t each other’s people.”
