Auroch Digital announced back in April that it was teaming up with Poncle on a Warhammer Vampire Survivors-like called, fittingly, Warhammer Survivors. Well, six months on, the dev has revealed its release date.

Warhammer Survivors will launch on Switch 1 and 2 on 10th November — a time that we’ll likely all be a little preoccupied with Zelda, but hey, it’ll be a nice change of pace. The good news is that it’ll only set you back £6.39 / $7.99 / €7.49, which feels like a small price to pay.

As the name (and collaboration) suggests, this is more Vampire Survivors-esque bullet hell madness, but with characters from the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar universes included. The trailer above really does boast all of the roguelike rushes that Poncle brought us back in 2023, but we like the new backgrounds and sprite work — the tabletop setting is a particularly nice one.

Here’s a rundown of the game’s key features and a handful of screenshots:

– Frenetic Bullet Heaven survival in a grim and dark setting.
– Over 40 iconic playable characters from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar universes, featuring Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun’s very own Malum Caedo!
– Multiple modes and stages from across the gritty 41st Millennium and the Mortal Realms.
– An arsenal of over 75+ iconic and powerful weapons from the formidable Chainsword to Orbital Bombardment; throw down buckets of dice and spill pots of Nuln Oil with plenty of Warhammer hobby-inspired moments.
– Face down the mightiest monsters the universes have to offer, including the ferocious Norn Emissary. Extremis Bosses pose a challenge even for Survivors-like veterans!
– A mighty cache of passives and power-ups to aid in enduring against the monstrous enemies, as well as game-changing, rule-bending unlockable options.
– Esoteric secrets to uncover and collectables to collect!

Vampire Survivors has comfortably ended up being one of our most-played Switch games in the years since it launched, and while this Warhammer take looks mighty similar to the source material, at least that means it should be similarly addictive.
