Aaron Carter’s Sister Angel Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 2

Watch: Nick Carter & Angel Carter Recall Aaron Carter’s Heartbreaking Death (Exclusive)

Angel Carter’s family is expanding.

The twin sister of the late Aaron Carter confirmed she is pregnant and expecting a baby boy with husband Corey Conrad, seven years after welcoming daughter Harper.

In an Oct. 1 Instagram post, the couple’s daughter posed with a photo of their sonogram as they held hands in the background. Alongside a blue heart emoji, Angel wrote, “Harper is getting a new title… Big Sister.”

And it had been a “long journey” for the couple to finally reach this chapter.

“We were fortunate to get pregnant naturally with Harper, but when we decided we wanted another baby, we discovered that IVF was the only option for us,” Angel explained to People in an interview published Oct. 1. “We chose to take that leap, and we’re so grateful for where that journey has brought us.”

The 38-year-old emphasized that she has gained a “newfound respect” for women who have gone through similar fertility struggles.

“It was such an emotional journey for us,” the mental health advocate continued, “and we feel incredibly grateful for this next chapter. Our baby is due in March, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him into our family.”

Meanwhile, Angel emphasized that her elder brother Nick Carter—who shares Odin, 10, Saoirse, 6, and Pearl, 5, with wife Lauren Kitt Carter—couldn’t be more thrilled to be an uncle five times over. (Angel’s brother Aaron welcomed son Prince, 4, with Melanie Martinez a year before his death in 2022, while late sisters Bobbie Jean Carter and Leslie Carter were each moms to one daughter, before their deaths in 2023 and 2012, respectively.)

“Nick was particularly excited when we found out we were having a baby boy—it was such a sweet moment seeing how happy he was,” Angel added, sharing that her daughter is just as thrilled. “She’s wanted to be a big sister for so many years.”

Of course, she can’t wait to see her kids bond. She added of her 7-year-old, “She’s going to be such a big help, and we can’t wait to see their relationship grow.”

As for whether Angel and Corey have settled on a name for their bun in the oven? She teased they have something cooking.

“We’d love to find a way to incorporate Corey’s initials, CC, into his name somehow, which would make it especially meaningful to our family,” she teased. “So, there may be a little hint in there, but we’re not giving anything away just yet.”
