Watch: Devon Sawa REACTS to Christina Ricci’s Casper Critique
Devon Sawa and Macaulay Culkin’s feud has met its final destination.
Eight years after the former child stars turned teenage heartthrobs turned seasoned actors began a viral online feud when Culkin began selling “Devon Sawa” t-shirts, Sawa took a stroll down feud memory lane.
“He and I had a internet beef,” the Casper star told Eyal Booker and Lonnie Marts IIV during his appearance on E!’s Hot Goss. “He bought DevinSawa.com. He did that, and we did this photo shoot together, and then we just started pranking each other.”
And though the feud found traction online, Sawa noted it eventually “kind of faded out,” though the Home Alone star still owns his namesake website.
“If you want to go to DevinSawa.com, you will be purchasing everything from Macaulay Culkin,” he quipped, before joking, “I can’t believe I’m giving him free press.”
Yet, the 48-year-old added of Culkin, “He’s amazing.”
As for whether he should retaliate and claim the handle @macaulayculkin on Instagram, Sawa said he wouldn’t go “that low” in his payback plot.
Plus, Sawa—who is starring in the upcoming Disney+ series Coven Academy—already kind of got the ultimate revenge when he starred in Eminem’s beloved 2002 music video for “Stan.”
“He was the first pick, I think,” the Final Destination star said of the rapper’s choice for the project, before joking, “It’s on DevonSawa.com.”

But when Culkin’s casting fell through, Sawa stepped into the project.
“Dre was a big Final Destination fan,” he recalled. “They knew a friend of a friend who was the casting director and it kind of went that way.”
“I got a call and they were like, ‘You want to be in this new Eminem video?’” he continued adding the project remains “one of my favorite things, for sure.”
Plus, with Total Request Live (TRL) in its heyday at the time, the video remained at the forefront of the pop culture zeitgeist for months.
As Sawa admitted, “That was a very wild, wild time of my life.”
But while Culkin and Sawa’s feud never found its sea legs offline, there are many celebrity feuds with much realer foundations. Read on for more.
