Kelly Rutherford shared one of of her famous elevator selfies on Instagram earlier this month, wearing Heidi Merrick’s white lace Missive Blouse and coordinating Tara Skirt for an early fall outing.

And just a couple of weeks later, Eva Mendes posed in the same exact styles for her own series of Instagram snaps, with Merrick tagged in the caption.

While both stars opted for the crisp white version, the separates are also available in black lace — perfectly suited to the start of spooky season.

Rutherford and Mendes are longtime fans of the brand; the “Gossip Girl” star wore the brand’s Ballerine Dress in another elevator selfie over the summer, while Mendes’ collection includes the Kite Skirt and Lobel Top, among other pieces.

The California-based brand is a favorite for stars on the West Coast and beyond, as Meghan Markle also owns a handful of Merrick’s designs.

The Duchess of Sussex and Kristen Bell have both worn the brand’s Marion Slip Dress in the same luxe burgundy hue.

But while many might define Merrick’s work as effortlessly chic, she’s gone on the record to say she hates the word “effortless.”
