Celebrating 40 years of Link
Nintendo has announced all sorts of merch for The Legend of Zelda‘s 40th anniversary, but one item you might have missed is the new trading card series.
During the UK and European broadcasts, Nintendo lifted on The Legend of Zelda: Master Collection trading card set by the Italian company, Panini. It’s best-known for its World Cup cards and sticker albums.
As for the new Zelda trading cards, fans of Link can expect to see artwork from across the entire series. In the screenshot above, you can see classic Link, Zelda from Sky Sword, Link from Tears of the Kingdom, and a moment from Ocarina of Time. The series appears to also have its own album.

Apart from Panini’s trading cards, Nintendo has announced new LEGO, amiibo, figures and much more to celebrate 40 years of Zelda. The Nintendo Today! mobile app is also celebrating Link’s 40th with digital collectible cards.
