Myles Borne and Tavion Heights are hanging out with Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux.

Borne tells them their match last week was so great they should run it back, but Heights suggests they should team together and run like he and Myles used to. They bicker gently and walk off to get ready for their match.

The Culling walks into the room after, talking about their communication problem.

Izzi Dame suggests the best thing to do is just to move on, since the Culling don’t make excuses. She’s gonna put the title on the back burner because she has other business, and Shawn Spears and Niko Vance should focus on winning tonight.

DarkState make their entrance and Saquon Shugars beats the holy hell out of Cutler James in the crowd before leaving as we go to break!

Back from commercial, commentary hypes up Triplemania ticket sales as well as the announcement of NXT’s own Great American Bash on the CW at the end of the month.

They also inform us that the previously scheduled tag team match has been called off by “Heartbreak Man” Shawn Michaels.

OTM win by pinfall with the double back suplex on Shawn Spears.

Backstage, Tate Wilder chats with EK Prosper.

Prosper gives him a pep talk and tells him to fight smart, not fast. Tate says he has to do what he has to in order to stand out and that means taking chances.

Kam Hendrix sticks his nose in, Wilder says he doesn’t need his takes, Kam brags about starting in NXT at the same time as Tate and already having a title match.

Wilder goes off and Hendrix slaps EK on the chest and says it’s a big night for him too. When Prosper is confused, Kam says he’ll be able to tell his grandkids he was there the night Kam Hendrix won the NXT Championship. Prosper tells him he hopes Tony D’Angelo beats his ass.

The Vanity Project make their entrance ahead of our next match.

Tate Wilder does the same and we get going.

Jackson Drake vs. Tate Wilder

Circling, collar and elbow, Wilder slings Drake aside. Jackson goes behind, waistlock, Tate counters to a wristlock, rolling through, Wilder blocks the evasion and grinds the wristlock in, cartwheel from Drake, he kips up and breaks free and swivels his hips. A shove gets a chop, boot to a side headlock, Tate shoots him off, ducks a lariat, Sling Blade connects and Jackson bails to the floor!

Tate Wilder dives on all three Vanity Project men and we go to break!

Back from commercial, both men are down and out. Wilder rolls to the apron and Drake joins him. Trading punches on the apron, enzuigiri from Tate, Pele kick from Jackson! Drake back inside only to hit a suicide spear! Jackson off the top with a 450 splash, nobody home, Wilder hits a TKO… NO DEAL!

Dragging Drake into position, Tate goes up top but Drake hits the ropes and crotches him! Up top with him, jockeying for position, Wilder slips to the mat and powerbombs him! Off the top, turning splash… NOT ENOUGH! Swipe Right run interference, Tate takes both of them out, back body drop puts Jackson into his own buds, Wilder off the apron, Myka Lockwood catches him and powerbombs him into the post and the apron!

Drake back up top, 450 splash connects this time…

Jackson Drake wins by pinfall with the 450 splash.

General manager Robert Stone is interviewed backstage.

He hypes up Great American Bash and Osiris Griffin rolls up to complain about his match being called off, insisting he and Dion can go.

Jasper Troy comes in, Griffin isn’t happy about it, somebody blindsides Troy with a chair and knocks over the camera operator before we can get a good look at them!

When another camera comes in, we see DarkState have wrecked everybody and left.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Lola Vice makes her entrance and gets on the mic.

She says last week she did exactly what she said she’d do and she knocked out Izzi Dame. Then she went to Noche de Los Grandes and proved that whether it’s NXT or AAA, Lola Vice is the complete package. No matter the match, the challenger, the doubters, she continues to prove everyone wrong.

But don’t get it twisted, she didn’t win the title out of luck, but rather because for four years she went to sleep every night envisioning her name on the side plates and she did everything in her power to get here. She doesn’t make excuses and she won’t accept them from anyone else. So, the big question– who’s next?

Everywhere she turns, someone is eyeing her title, and she loves it because this title deserves women who are ready for it, but everyone who does will leave the same way, embarrassed and knocked out.

Enter Kelani Jordan.

She asks if this means she’s finally gonna get a shot at the title because she’s made it impossible to deny her any longer. Lola keeps calling herself undeniable and she gets it, she went to AAA, amde a name for herself, got some momentum and came back to NXT and won the title. But what bothers her is their stories aren’t so difference.

Vice goes somewhere else and a star is born, but Jordan goes somewhere else and the rules change. She went to TNA and instead of getting praised, she got questioned. The same people who applauded Lola’s success couldn’t wait to criticize hers, and that’s why she got kicked out of the locker room.

She’s seem women come and go and championship matches booked without her name even entering the conversation. What else does she has to do? She’s tapped Vice, beaten Wren Sinclair twice, beat Kendal Grey, what else needs to happen? Lola says she wasn’t TNA Knockouts Champion for very long but it was a year ago that she went to AAA.

Enter Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair.

Grey says the problem is that Kelani isn’t the only one who wants the title and she’s not gonna tell everyone why she deserves it because she’s obviously earned it. She pinned Jordan and Vice both in Iron Survivor and then won the thing, so if anyone’s up next, it’s her. But, before she worries about that title, she has a written receipt for Kelani, because of what she did to Wren last week–

Jordan says Kendal is responsible for that and she just needs one chance to become champion, but Grey can’t win the big one and has shown it multiple times. Lola Vice is frustrated in Spanish and says she’s heard this before and doesn’t want to hear it again, so she books Kelani and Kendal in a #1 contender’s match, title match to happen at Great American Bash.

She goes to walk out and Jordan spins her around into an accidental backfist on Kendal Grey!

We get a hype reel for the Mr. NXT Pageant.

Excellent weirdo Shiloh Hill is chatting backstage with Tatum Paxley, asking if that was too over the top.

She says it’s a pageant, it’s supposed to be over the top, she just wishes she’ll be able to watch it, what with having a match next week and all. Shiloh suggests talking to Robert Stone about when in the show her match is so she can triangulate and then pops off to go do some raccoon business.

Zaria blindsides Tatum and throws her into some backstage junk and Hill rushes back to run and call for help and send us to break.

Back from commercial, Mason Rook rolls up on Tony D’Angelo.

D’Angelo asks if he’s here to say he’s gonna get involved tonight and Rook says he’ll make no promises. Tony says he’s gonna take everybody out, one by one, Mason says he’s gonna be the challenge he can’t beat, and Robert Stone rolls up and says next week, it’ll be Rook vs. Naraku with title implications.

Tony D says if Mason beats Naraku, he’ll cut the line.

All through this, Naraku was standing in the background, being EVIL.

Romeo Moreno makes his entrance ahead of our next match, accompanied by his mentor Noam Dar.

Birth Right makes their entrance after so Lexis King can defend his title.

Lexis King (c) vs. Romeo Moreno (WWE Speed Men’s Championship)

King offers a handshake but it’s a fakeout to pieface Moreno, Romeo rushes him, back and forth, quick victory roll pin from the challenger, up and over, German suplex, springboard dropkick and a cover for two! La Casita for two, Lexis floats over a suplex, Romeo with a back elbow, springboard, King kicks his legs out from under him, double stomp, corner dropkick… NOPE!

A second cover, same result, ditto the third, kick to the spine, drawing Moreno up for an uppercut, Romeo fires off a slap, trading hard right hands, duck a lariat, King picks the leg and rolls into a half-crab but Moreno blocks and counters with an upkick! Low superkick out of the conner staggers him but Romeo manages to roll through and hit a suplex!

Basement superkick, slam, cover… NOT ENOUGH! Two minutes on the clock, arm trapped, Rings of Saturn applied, King manages to get to the floor, Moreno dives on the rest of Birth Right, throws Lexis inside, missile dropkick caught and countered into the half-crab! Stomping Romeo’s head with the hold applied, less than a minute left!

Romeo with a small package, boot up in the ropes, springboard moonsault, nobody home, King off the ropes with a knee…

Lexis King wins by pinfall with Coronation, retaining the WWE Speed Men’s Championship.

Backstage, Nattie Neidhart meets Jaida Parker backstage.

Nattie says she didn’t realize Jaida was so soft and if Layla Diggs had a few more sessions she would have won, and Parker is less than mediocre. Jaida says they should cut the crap and go fight in the parking lot and Neidhart says she’s not buying it, she sees right through all of it, and she knows Parker is scared, because she knows that she knows that she’s soft.

Tank Ledger says if somebody told him that he would cry and girls are ruthless.

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial, Keanu Carver rolls up on Tate Wilder in the trainer’s room.

They trade barbs, EK Prosper says Tate might be reckless but he’s got the right idea and somebody needs to shut Keanu up. Carver tells him to watch himself and walks on.

Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair are chatting and Wren says she needs to focus on recovery and Kendal needs to focus on beatng Kelani Jordan and going after the title. Grey says she really wants Sinclair at ringside but Wren says she needs to go it alone.

DarkState (Dion Lennox & Osiris Griffin) vs. Myles Borne & Tavion Heights)

Early goings sees Borne and Heights take control on Griffin and shrug off Lennox on a tag, Osiris tags back in, chokes Myles in the corner, throws him hard into the turnbuckles, goozle applied, Borne floats over a chokeslam, Cactus Clothesline to the floor! Heights goes out there and German suplexes Osiris on the floor to send us to break!

Back from commercial, Lennox has Borne in a torture half-crab, tag to Griffin, talking trash, drawing Myles up, whip to the corner, boot up! Osiris hanging on to his wrist to block the tag, drawing him up for a backbreaker, Dion tags back in, clubbing away, stomping the back, Borne kicks him away but Lennox catapults him into a newly legal Osiris for a World’s Strongest Slam… NOPE!

Dion back in, front chancery, side headlock, kicking Tavion’s hand away but Myles back body drops him and tags Heights in! Lighting Dion up with punches, lariat, axhandle, spin-out mat slam, huge belly-to-belly suplex! Griffin tags in, elbow staggers him, Tavion with a fireman’s carry drop! Karelin lift follows, off the ropes, Lennox traps his leg and Osiris lands a headbutt and posts Heights!

Tag to Dion, electric chair…

DarkState win by pinfall with a Doomsday Device on Tavion Heights.

Post-match, Saquon Shugars threatens DarkState with a baseball bat from the crow’s nest.

Commentary hypes up next week’s show.

Kam Hendrix makes his entrance ahead of our main event, sending us to break.

Back from commercial, Tony D’Angelo makes his entrance to get things going.

Kam Hendrix vs. Tony D’Angelo (c) (NXT Men’s Championship)

Hendrix right in with Showtime… NOT ENOUGH! Swinging neckbreaker, another nearfall, a DDT… STILL NO! Throwing D’Angelo into the corner, body avalanche, Kam gets fancy and rolls through on his way back and Tony catches him! Hendrix runs away from the chokeslam and bails to the floor! Back inside, champ with punches and chops, whip to the corner, charging corner lariat and strikes in the corner!

Whip across, Kam with a knee, Tony ducks a lariat, fireman’s carry, release Attiude Adjustment! Big back body drop, clothesline sends Hendrix to the floor! Kam looks at the title, Naraku stands up in the front row to warn him off, and we go to break.

Back from commercial, D’Angelo floats over a suplex, schoolboy for two, off the ropes, solebutt from Hendrix and a tossing suplex for two! Kam with disdainful shoves, Tony getting fired up, shrugging off punches, shaking the ropes, Hendrix shocked and the champ unloads with right hands!

German suplex, another one, a third, whip across, spinning spinebuster connects! Front kick, fisherman suplex into a small package… HENDRIX KICKS OUT! Whip across, shoulder block, whip the other way, Kam with a knee up, double leg, folding press and his feet on the ropes but referee Darryl Sharma catches him and calls off the count!

Tony D with a big tossing suplex, cover for two, whip across, Kam floats over, Showtime connects again, Liger Bomb follows… D’ANGELO KICKS OUT! Trading strikes, Hendrix ducks a lariat, low kick, off the ropes, D’Angelo gets under him for a powerbomb… KAM WON’T STAY DOWN! Jawbreaker staggers the champ, Hendrix crawls for a chair on the floor but Mason Rook steps on it to stop him from using it!

D’Angelo bounces him off the table, back inside…

Tony D’Angelo wins by pinfall with the chokeslam, retaining the NXT Men’s Championship.

Post-match, Naraku is the one to hand Tony his title belt, bowing to him afterward while Mason Rook looks on and commentary hypes up their #1 contender’s match next week.
