Fooseball? You playin’ the fooseball?!
The latest UK charts data is in, and with the release of EA Sports FC 27 on 25th September, it’s no surprise to find the football sim makes its debut at number one. PS5 has comfortably outpaced the other consoles in terms of sales, with Switch and Switch 2 making up 8% and 5% respectively.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave has slipped down to number eight after its debut last week, though this is still an enviably position for Nintendo’s new release, especially in the wake of two new multi-platform releases with FC 27 and Silent Hill: Townfall.
Elsewhere, it’s quite nice to see Metroid Prime 4: Beyond back in the charts, while it’s clear that The Witcher III is enjoying a bit of a resurgence ahead of the release of the Remastered version.
