Tommy Lee Jones was all smiles while making a rare appearance at the Season 2 premiere of “The Lowdown.”
The actor appeared in good spirits as he walked the red carpet solo during the star-studded event in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday.
At one point, he posed alongside his co-stars, including Ethan Hawke and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.
Jones, 80, kept it casual for the outing, sporting a blue button-up, black blazer and jeans.
In the FX series, the “Fugitive” star portrays Lee Raybon Sr., the estranged father of Hawke’s character, Lee Raybon.
The crime drama follows Hawke’s character, a self-proclaimed journalist, who exposes political corruption in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Season 2 of the series will be released on the platform on Oct. 14.
Jones’ rare outing comes after the 2023 premiere of the crime thriller series “Finestkind,” also starring Jenna Ortega and Toby Wallace.
His last released film was the 2023 Maggie Betts-directed movie, “The Burial,” alongside Jamie Foxx.

Wednesday’s premiere, meanwhile, also comes after the heartbreaking death of Tommy’s daughter, Victoria Jones, on Jan. 1.
The 34-year-old was found unresponsive at the Fairmont in San Francisco just before 3 a.m., when paramedics were responding to reports of a medical emergency.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a medical examiner’s report, Victoria’s death was a result of the toxic effects of cocaine.
The manner of her death was ruled an “accident.”
