IGN’s favorite game of 2024, Metaphor: ReFantazio, is getting a hardcover art book next year titled The Art of Metaphor: ReFantazio by Kelly Knox. If the game has a special place in your heart and you’re eager to add this beautiful release to your bookshelf, preorders are now live for it at select retailers with a price tag of $50 (see it here at Amazon). You’ll have to wait a little while to get your hands on it, though, as it’s not set to be released until March 9.
- See at Amazon – $50
- See at Walmart – $50 (OUT OF STOCK)
While that’s still quite a ways away from now, don’t let that stop you from putting an order in for it early. This new art book could very well sell out (it already has at Walmart), so it’s better to secure a copy now than wait too long and miss out. If you’re a big fan of the game, it certainly seems worth every penny, too.
For starters, the cover art for this book looks stunning, with a dark red background and gold designs. You can get a closer look at it in the image above. And as for what’s inside, it’s packed with information including behind-the-scenes details about the making of the game; concept art; character sketches; insights into its development, like breaking down its narrative and gameplay system; and much more.
That’s an exciting amount of detail to dig into, plus a lovely hardcover casing surrounding it all. If you think it’d be the perfect pick-up for your shelf, or maybe know someone with a big love of Metaphor: ReFantazio who would adore it, don’t miss out on this chance to get a preorder in. Again, it could sell out early, so make sure to secure your copy before that happens.
