We’ve been following the career of Steven Borden Jr. pretty closely since he started training with Darby Allin following his father, Sting’s 2024 retirement. But as Steven Jr.‘s AEW television rollout has played out over the past month or so, we’ve also started hearing a lot about Sting’s other son, Garrett.
Garrett Borden was also involved in his dad’s farewell angle two-plus years ago, but we’ve only started to learn about his pro wrestling plans. He just booked his first match in May of this year, but that was the result of work he’s been quietly doing with Dustin Rhodes. Garrett and Steven Jr. already have a tag booking at Rhodes Wrestling Association’s November event, and we can start to wonder how long it might be until we see the Stinger Bros tagging on Dynamite or Collision.
That’s because Garrett made his AEW debut in a dark match before Collision on Saturday (Sept. 19) in Charleston, West Virginia. Borden defeated Kiran Grey.

Garrett is reportedly 37-years-old, which would make him three years older than Steven Jr. — and some are already questioning the younger Hijo del Sting’s chances of making it due to his age. But maybe those critics like Dustin Rhodes better than Steven Jr.‘s trainer…
Steven Borden Jr. is set to tag with Allin against The Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight at All Out this weekend with an AEW Tag title shot on the line. Could we see a run-in from Garrett and the AEW debut of the Borden Boys?
