Watch: See Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Step Out in NYC for Low-Key Date Night During Chiefs Bye Week
Travis Kelce already took Taylor Swift to Cleveland, so she took him to set.
In a new behind-the-scenes look at the making of Swift’s “Patient Zero” music video, Kelce made a brief appearance as he supported the singer in directing the Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell-led music video.
The couple—who wed in July—appeared to cuddle up as Swift leaned back in her director’s chair, while Kelce hugged her from behind, as seen in the new behind-the-scenes video released on Spotify Oct. 13. Trust, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end appeared to be in awe of Swift’s latest creative pursuit, sporting a huge smile as he took in the action.
This isn’t the first time Kelce has shown support on one of Swift’s set. In 2024, the 36-year-old cheekily gave her now-husband his first-ever shoutout and revealed how much sunshine he brought to the gloomy “Fortnight” music video project.
“It actually was the most fun video to make,” the Grammy winner revealed while accepting the VMA for Video of the Year. “Something that I’ll always remember is when I finished a take and I’d say ‘cut,’ and we’d be done with that take, I would always hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting it.”
Swift revealed at the time, “That one person was my boyfriend Travis.”
While the music video subject was a depiction of a meltdown-inducing breakup, Swift assured that Kelce painted her onyx sky opalite.
“Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic,” she added, “so I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that.”

Meanwhile, Swift keeps her support of Kelce at 100 all the time. In addition to her being the No. 1 Chiefs cheer captain from the bleachers, Ryan Murphy previously revealed that Swift gave Kelce a major push in his foray to acting.
“The only thing that [Travis and I] talked about was that she’s very supportive of him, and if he has an interest, she wanted him to try it,” the Grotesquerie creator told E! News of Kelce signing on to the series in 2024. “I was thrilled about that.”
Behind-the-scenes or not, Swift and Kelce are always fearless in their support of each other.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift told Time magazine in 2023 of their public-facing romance. “We’re just proud of each other.”
