Aura Entertainment has unveiled the first look teaser trailer for The Beast, another bonkers crazy action thriller movie coming up this year. Yet another entry in the “president under attack” subgenre including films like White House Down and Air Force One. From director Renny Harlin (who also made this year’s Deep Water shark movie) coming this new action comedy. When a militia of unidentified hostiles coordinates a coup against the US, the president himself is forced to drive the presidential limousine & unlock the full extent of The Beast’s highly classified capabilities to save his injured agent, reunite with his wife, and save the world. Of course!! Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Joel Kinnaman, Colin Morgan, and Guy Burnet. This looks hilarious! What a fun teaser trailer: just the right amount of action, tons of F-bombs & other surprises to make you cackle. So basically it’s just White House Down but with the president stuck inside his armored SUV? Sure – this could be good.

The Beast is directed by prolific Finnish filmmaker Renny Harlin, director of many films including Born American, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Die Hard 2 (!!), Cliffhanger, Cutthroat Island, The Long Kiss Goodnight, Deep Blue Sea, Mindhunters, Exorcist: The Beginning, The Covenant, Cleaner, 12 Rounds, 5 Days of War, Devil’s Pass, The Legend of Hercules, Skiptrace, Bodies at Rest, The Misfits, Class Reunion 3, The Refuge, The Bricklayer, Deep Water, and the The Strangers: Chapters 1 – 3 movies previously.
