In the absence of Samoa Joe, Hook took the reigns to recruit new blood for The Opps. Anthony Bowens wants in, however, Hook questioned his killer instinct. Bowens tried to prove himself in the ring. The results were not optimal with losses in the Blackjack Battle Royal, to Jon Moxley, to Rush, and in the Casino Gauntlet. At least Moxley and Rush ware the type of opponents to test a man’s toughness. The question remained on if Bowens impressed Hook enough to gain membership to The Opps.
Last week, Bowens demanded an answer. Hook said he would deliver the news next week. Also of note, nothing screams Opps like getting jazzed about crazy coffee shops. It is funny to image killers like Joe, Shibata, Will Hobbs, and Hook chilling at the cafe. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hook drinks his beverages through curly straws.
“Am I in The Opps, or am I out?”@Bowens_Official needs an answer from @730hook!

Fast forward to this week on Collision (Apr. 25, 2026). Bowens received his answer. Samoa Joe is back from injury, and the verdict is in. Joe and Hook pulled Bowens’ chain a little by teasing that there were no more vacancies in the crew. The reason is because Bowens is the newest member of The Opps.
.@SamoaJoe is BACK, and @730hook is giving Joe the rundown on what’s happening with The Opps… but @Bowens_Official is still waiting for an answer!
