This “prologue” demo and will allow you to experience the opening section of the title. Additionally, any save data you have can be transferred across to the full game when it launches for Switch 2 on 12th November 2026.
Atlus: “New to Metaphor: ReFantazio? Try out the official demo, now available on Nintendo Switch 2!”
If you haven’t played this JRPG by the “minds behind Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 5”, it was originally released in 2024 and is critically accalimed for its narrative, art direction and game design. Here’s a bit about the story:
Our story takes place in The United Kingdom of Euchronia, where the assassination of the king brings chaos and unrest to the land. Then, one fateful day, a magic known only to the king called the Royal Magic is invoked, and the world becomes embroiled in a royal tournament for the throne.
