Prince William‘s secret hobby will take you for a ride.

The Prince of Wales revealed that he still keeps up with his love for motorcycles, even going out for rides incognito.

“I love bikes,” he said during a visit to Norfolk Blood Bikes on June 11, per Hello!. “I do still ride now and again, quietly.” With a nod, he added, “Disguise.”

It’s been a favorite pastime of the future King of England for years, but he can’t get out as often as he’d like.

And wife Kate Middleton—who shares kids Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11 and Prince Louis, 8, with William—doesn’t exactly approve.

“He’s still riding it,” she said during a 2015 visit to Scotland, per People. “It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it. I’m terrified. Hopefully I’m going to keep George off of it.”

Three years later, William admitted that he’d pressed the brakes on the recreational activity.

“I’m a dad of three. I have to tone it down,” he said during a 2018 appearance. “I miss the big trips. For me, biking was always about being with everybody else.”

That’s why William relished in the opportunity to hop on a bike while visiting a Virtual Production Studio at Ulster University’s Belfast City Campus in 2024.

“Any excuse to get on a motorbike!” he exclaimed while getting on a bike in front of a fake backdrop of a desert, according to the Hello!. “I feel like someone needs to take this for a real spin.”

Instead, he’s taken up other hobbies with his kids, including sharing their love for music, noting during a 2024 trip to Wales, per the BBC, “Charlotte loves her dancing and performing.”

William has also gotten into crafting with his children—like making friendship bracelets following their outing at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London, which prompted a fan to give him a DIY kit during his visit.

“Thank you so much, they’re going to love these. You’ll see them out and about,” the 43-year-old said of his kids, joking, “I’ll keep them away from Louis because he’ll try and steal all his sister’s kits!”
