See how it compares to the original game
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is getting a fancy new makeover on the Switch 2 this November, and in case you missed it, Nintendo recently shared artwork of the game’s map on its social media pages.
This classic fantasy-style map includes all the major landmarks you may already be familiar with. The overworld Hyrule Field connects to everything, and surrounding it we’ve got Hyrule Castle, Death Mountain, Zora’s Domain, Kokiri Forest, Lake Hylia and Gerudo Valley.
Like other Zelda titles, you can expect Link to have access to interactive (and much more detailed) maps when the game is released, but this is it for now.

Nintendo: Behold, Hyrule!
If you are curious to see how this compares to the original, here’s a look at the game’s map as it appears in the Nintendo 64 game manual. More detailed maps show up as you explore dungeons, temples and other areas of Hyrule.
You see more of how Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 compares to the original N64 version in our previous post. We noted the maps and design of the new game isn’t a straight 1:1 reworking, with different shaped minimaps and minor topographical alterations to Hyrule Field.
