Watch: How Maura Higgins Is Already Preparing for Dancing With the Stars
Maura Higgins is faithful to serving legendary looks.
While the Traitors star has made a habit of stealing the spotlight with her fashion, she upped the ante with a bold hair transformation that turned heads at Paris Fashion Week 2026.
While attending the Viktor & Rolf Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026/2027 show July 8, Higgins debuted a dark brunette chopped pixie cut that complemented her black pinstriped suit, made up of a pair of pleated trousers and large jacket with flowing tail.
The 35-year-old—set to appear on Dancing With the Stars’ upcoming season 35—also sported a pair of white pumps, which accented the oversized collar she wore around her neck.
Higgins’ bold new hairstyle stood in stark contrast to the shoulder-length locks she wore less than two weeks before while attending the Wimbledon tennis tournament in England June 29 alongside Chris Appleton, Romeo Beckham and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull.
Of course, since becoming a familiar face as a contestant on Love Island in 2019, the reality TV star has been vocal about channeling her style sense into eye-catching looks. In fact, she has emphasized that “fashion has always been a part of who I am.”
“Over time, I’ve worked on making more intentional style choices,” she told Basic Magazine in an interview published June 19. “I still want to feel powerful and turn heads on every occasion. I often say if the look isn’t going to be a moment, then why bother?”
Higgins took that mindset into her time on The Traitors last season, for which she was given the award for “Best Costume Design” by reunion host Andy Cohen.

As she put it, “On The Traitors, fashion was my main focus. I nearly forgot there was a game going on!”
As for the pillar that drives Higgins’ fashion choices and makes her feel most comfortable in the looks she wears? She said, “Confidence, always.”
“Fashion has always intrigued me, so having it become such a big part of my life and career feels natural,” she explained to Basic. “I feel my best in something that makes a statement but still feels like me. There has to be a balance—I want to feel strong, sexy, and serve big drama.”
