Katie Holmes and Jason Bard Yarmosky’s romance is headed upstream.

The Dawson’s Creek alum proved the pair’s connection is stronger than ever as she commemorated the visual artist’s birthday by sharing an intimate glimpse into their relationship.

As she captioned a Sept. 1 Instagram photo of the pair sharing an embrace, “Happy Birthday to the best of the best…@jasonbardyarmosky.”

In the first snap, Yarmosky leaned in close to Holmes as she wrapped one arm around his waist. In the other hand, the First Daughter actress held a microphone as she gave her guy a wide smile.

In the second photo, Holmes, 47, shared a low-lit photo of Yarmosky’s birthday cake, which was lit with candles.

But the birthday love didn’t stop there. After all, Holmes—mom to 20-year-old daughter Suri Noelle with ex-husband Tom Cruise—reposted a video to her Instagram Stories from the celebration where Yarmosky blew out his candles as the Batman Begins actress looked on with a smile.

The painter then leaned in and showed his love for Holmes by giving her a kiss on the forehead.

Just weeks earlier, the couple hard launched their romance on social media, going Instagram official Aug. 13 as Yarmosky shared a stylish snap of Holmes smiling in what appears to be a horse stable.

For her look, Holmes sported a white silk skirt set, topping it off with a pair of silver, pointed toe heels.

And it’s certainly been a summer of firsts for the duo, who debuted their romance at a Ferragamo event at Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, New York, on July 24.

For the occasion, Holmes and Yarmosky stepped out in coordinating navy blue outfits. At the time, the Happy Hours star played coy about the fashion choice, telling Elle, “I think we just have similar taste.”

But keeping a low profile in her personal life is nothing new for the Rare Objects actress.

“Obviously, as a public person, I’ve gotten a lot of attention at different periods in my life,” Holmes explained to InStyle in 2022. “And when you have a lot of attention, sometimes you don’t want to leave the house because it’s just too much. You can get consumed by what people think, but suddenly you just decide to do things on your own terms.”

And she’s still learning to find the balance between what’s worth sharing and what to keep close to her heart. As she put it, “I feel like I’m finally figuring that out.”
