Watch: Harry Jowsey Gets Married in Shocking Let’s Marry Harry Finale

Harry Jowsey may be more single than you think.

While he and Amber Mozo had a wedding on the finale of his Netflix series Let’s Marry Harry, the reality star addressed rumors that their union is not legally binding.

“When we filmed the show, there were certificates, but they weren’t submitted—because it would have ruined the show,” Harry told Entertainment Tonight in an interview published Aug. 14. “They’re out there. I just don’t know where they are, when they’re getting submitted.”

In addition to not filing a marriage certificate for fear of it becoming public record, Harry chose not to wear a wedding ring leading up to the finale to avoid spoiling the outcome of the show.

As the Perfect Match alum put it, “I think Netflix is still holding the ring somewhere.”

Although he appears to still be legally single, Harry noted that this is “the happiest I’ve ever been, my life is so amazing.”

And his marital status is not the first secret he’s had to keep about Let’s Marry Harry. He also had an explanation for why he considered one of his onscreen kisses with Amber, 30, too hot for the rest of the cast to handle.

“I had this very intimate moment with Amber,” Jowsey told E! News in an exclusive interview ahead of the premiere. “She asked me to not tell anyone and just keep it between us. I had to respect that and be true to her.”

Indeed, Harry denied the interaction to 24-year-old love interest Sam Kruse at the time. But, according to Harry, he had the purest intentions behind the deceit.

“I would never want to lie to someone that I’m seeing, but also I would never want to expose someone that I’m also seeing,” the 29-year-old explained. “So it’s a very weird position to be in.”

Even though the Australian star called the dilemma a “difficult spot to be put in,” he also noted that he “wouldn’t change” his decision to keep his promise to Amber.

Still, Harry acknowledged what he might’ve done differently in hindsight.

As the Boyfriend Material podcaster put it, “Maybe [I’d] handle it a little bit better, and with a little bit more grace and a little bit more empathy for Sam.”

And the tricky situation wasn’t the only element of filming that Harry admitted pushed him out of his comfort zone.

“My family—exposing that part of my life,” he said of the biggest change from his previous hoorahs on reality TV. “I’ve never really let the world in on that, so I think I’m more nervous for that.”

Yet Harry—who appeared on New Zealand’s Heartbreak Island in 2018, before being romantically linked to Francesca Farago, Georgia Hassarati and Jessica Vestal on Too Hot to Handle and Perfect Match—was ultimately excited for fans to witness him “put a bow tie on this whole dating show life and career.”
