Watch: Why Hilary Duff Says She Had “Zero Education” as a Child Star
Wake up, wake up, Hilary Duff is sharing some of her beauty secrets.
Since gatekeeping is so yesterday, the 38-year-old recently detailed the cosmetic procedures she has had over the years, admitting that nothing is quite off the table when it comes to going under the knife.
“I do all the things,” Duff told People in an interview published earlier this month. “I love Botox. I’m obsessed with microneedling and salmon sperm [facials].”
Despite the last treatment’s eyebrow raising name, it’s a beloved beauty hack among other stars like Jennifer Aniston and Charli XCX—and the “Why Not” singer said taking the crazy chance on it paid off.
As she assured, “It works so well.”
So much so, in fact, that Duff pushed her husband Matthew Koma—with whom she shares Banks, 7, Mae, 5, and Townes, 2—to try it, too.
“He’s obsessed,” Duff—also mom to Luca, 14, with ex Mike Comrie—mused. “He loves it.”
But while Duff is coming clean about her beauty secrets, she has emphasized her love for her imperfect body, too.
“I do feel so much happier in this body that’s not perfect,” sheshared during an appearance on The Mother Daze podcast in 2023. “I do feel way more myself.”
Indeed, Duff has no desire to go back to the beginning. In fact, she is appreciating getting older.
“It’s just age,” the Disney alum reasoned. “Just every year you tack on you’re a little bit more like, I’m more me. I’m becoming more me.”
And Duff is excited to get even more mature.

“I actually can’t wait to turn 40,” she mused. “All my friends are 40, I think the year 40 brings luck too. And especially for actresses. Like it is cool, I don’t know if it was always like that.”
While Duff is in her musical comeback era, her husband is manifesting something big for her on screen in her next decade.
“He’s like, ‘You’re gonna win your awards in your 40s,'” the Lizzie McGuire star added. “I don’t know, I could be doing something I couldn’t imagine doing at 30 at 40 and like as an actress or just being in this industry, women have opportunities for so long it seems.”
