“Family’s more than just blood. You find your place.” Warner Bros & HBO unveiled another teaser trailer (that is basically just a full trailer) for the new Harry Potter series, a new version of the hugely successful book series of the same name. But this time without the magic that makes the movie series so wonderful. They’re going through the books one-by-one again so this first part is titled (again) Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and launches at Christmas streaming on HBO Max in the US. A new era of Hogwarts begins. This features Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, Arabella Stanton as Hermione, John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, along with Luke Thallon, Paul Whitehouse, Bertie Carvel, Johnny Flynn, Bel Powley, Daniel Rigby, Katherine Parkinson, Warwick Davis, and Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy. We finally get a good look at all of the characters in Hogwarts in this new teaser, along with more of the shenanigans these kids get caught up in during their first year. There’s also more Quidditch and monsters and everything else fun. Still don’t believe we need this new adaptation at all.
