Golf Road Trip Series ‘A Course Called Ireland’ Trailer with Bill Murray​

“It’s two friends on a golf adventure in Ireland.” Paramount+ / BBC have revealed the official trailer for a new doc series titled A Course Called Ireland, a fun road trip journey around the island of Ireland and its many golf courses. Golf originated in Scotland and has its roots there, but it’s also connected to Ireland in many ways. A Course Called Ireland is a hilarious & unpredictable love letter to the game of golf. The series captures candid, unscripted moments woven with the wit, warmth, and wonder of Ireland. Audiences will get a unique insight into Bill Murray, his family, his friends and his love of the emerald isle. Inspired by the book A Course Called Ireland: A Long Walk in Search of a Country, a Pint, and the Next Tee, written by Tom Coyne, who also appears in this series as Bill’s friend who accompanies him on this epic journey. “Bill Murray became our creative North Star as we embraced the unexpected and let the people, places and moments we encountered shape the series. The result is something truly original. But at its core, A Course Called Ireland is a simple story: two friends on a trip of a lifetime, inviting us along for the ride.” Produced and commissioned by the BBC in the UK, this series set in Ireland will also debut streaming in the US on Paramount+ this fall.
