Former WWE NXT titleholder debuts at TNA taping (SPOILERS)

It’s been an eventful week for TNA Wrestling. Mostly that’s been because of the controversy around Max Caster’s brief run with the company, which is a shame because it overshadowed an eventful Bound for Glory that wrapped up with a great Leon Slater/Nic Nemeth World title match.

Now, the Anthem-owned promotion hopes to get people back to talking about their current product, and away from rap ethics, the Middle East, and its TKO-owned partner. They started with an Impact taping in Dothan, Alabama last night (Oct. 13).

It featured the debut — well, technically return — of a former WWE talent. Former NXT Women’s Tag champ Shotzi Blackheart has crossed the line…

The Ballsy Badass was most recently at MLW, but Fightful reports she’s wrapped up there after her contract expired earlier this month. PWInsider says MLW officials were thrilled with Shotzi’s work there and hope to continue working with her, provided she’s not under a contract that prohibits her from working them. Behind Fightful’s Select paywall, Sean Ross Sapp added that she has tentative MLW dates booked for next year.

Shotzi wrestled at the taping, her first match there since making appearance back in 2018 and 2019 when the company was calling itself Impact Wrestling. Spoilers from TNAsylum say she allied with Allie for a match against Allie’s recent tag partner Kiera Hogan and her old Fire ‘n Flava partner Tasha Steelz.

Does Shotzi Blackheart being on Impact change your wrestle watching habits at all?
