“Everybody’s in danger, Sonus or not!” Epic Pictures revealed the official trailer for an indie sci-fi fantasy creation called The Renaissance of Oddity Todd, an ambitious indie project made by filmmakers Noah Marks. He’s also a VFX artist and went all out in crafting this world and telling this unique story. “All things vibrate.” When the Sonus, masters of vibration, are hunted by the relentless World Collective, only a Sonus with a cryptic past can save humanity from a dark reckoning. What kind of powers does he have with these vibrations? Kind of looks like Neo in here. The film stars Franko Cruz as Todd, Darrin Hickok, Tamara Fay, and Piper Verbrick. Very unique concept. The longer explanation adds: In a world governed by the authoritarian World Collective, Sonus are a secretive order of scholars whose study of Vibrational Energy grants them supernatural abilities. When a mysterious event draws the World Collective’s attention to their existence, the Sonus are forced into hiding, but Todd will fight back. Even if this looks a bit too clunky, I certainly appreciate the ambition and vision to do something unique and epic. Check out this footage below.
