Watch: Dove Cameron Shares Rare Insight Into “Meet Cute” With Fiancé Damiano David
Dove Cameron and DamianoDavid are flying into a new chapter of their love story.
The Disney Channel alum and former Måneskin member officially tied the knot on Sept. 24, getting married at the Palazzo dei Priori in Montalcino, Italy.
For the occasion at the town hall, Cameron—holding a bouquet of calla lilies—was the perfect bride in a white loose-fitting suit over a cream button-up shirt, featuring a one-shoulder cape. She accessorized with a matching belt and tie, while her long black hair cascaded down her back.
David opted for a cream-colored double-breasted suit, forgoing a shirt under the ensemble. Instead, he completed his look with a beige silk scarf draped over his shoulders.
Cameron, 30, and David, 27—who started dating in 2023—announced theirengagement in January 2026, with Dove posting a photo of her ring toInstagram, writing, “My favourite part of being alive. Happy new year.”
However, when it came to wedding planning, Cameron found herself surprised by the entire experience.
“I’ve never had to think about any of this stuff before,” the Liv and Maddie alum shared withAllure in February. “I didn’t ever know if I was going to get married. It was never one of those things that I had planned out. I didn’t know what form my life was going to take. And now, I’m like a baby again.”
Plus, the “Boyfriend” singer wanted to make sure that she was acknowledging her queerness with her wedding day attire after sharing that she identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ communityin 2021.
“I’m going to have to figure out a way to design a dress that feels inclusive of the fullness of who I am,” Cameron said. “I think it would be wrong of me to go too hard either way.”

“If it’s my wedding day and we’re both in suits, I’m going to look back and be like, ‘Well, f–k.’ But if I go ultra-femme, I’m going to be like, ‘Well, f–k,’” she explained. “I truly do feel split down the middle energetically between a masculine-feminine energy.”
But the most important thing for Cameron was that she’d “found the person that I want to be with.”
However, she and David almost missed their moment when they first met at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2022, because the Italian rocker didn’t appear interested in speaking to her.
“Damiano was in the back, so he barely looked at me,” she recalled of the meeting on Call Her Daddy in February 2026. “And he was also not giving off friendly vibes. I was like, ‘That guy f–king hates me.’”

“Later, I learned he was just in a really bad place,” she added. “It had nothing to do with me, but I took it personally.”
Thankfully, the couple was given a second chance, connecting again at the 2023 VMAs, with Cameron noting they were both “in a better place.”
“He was so friendly,” she added. “And then he was like, ‘Do you want to come to our show at Madison Square Garden?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah.’ And then we just started dating, and now we’re engaged.”
