Love isn’t a challenge for CT Tamburello and Phaedra Parks.

Two weeks after Parks confirmed that she and her Traitors costar are in a relationship, the Challenge alum shared a glimpse into their budding romance.

“I’ll say—I don’t want to jinx it—but I’ll say we’re in a good place,” Tamburello told Us Weekly in an interview published Sept. 20. “With her, she just brings peace. It’s easy to just stay calm around her.”

Among the most important aspects of their relationship is how well they balance one another.

“I know I’m crazy in my own right,” he quipped. “It’s probably for the best if I’m not around her every day, to be honest. But she’s amazing. She really is. The way I would describe it is like Paula Abdul, ‘Opposites Attract.’ You remember that old video? That’s us.”

Indeed, just like Abdul and MC Skat Kat, Tamburello knows that sometimes he and Parks will take two steps forward and two steps back.

“Contrary to popular belief, I do learn,” he playfully teased. “Maybe a slower learner, but I do learn, and some things are better left unsaid and I think oversharing can be a bad thing.”

The couple—who first met in 2023 while filming season two of The Traitors—took another step in their relationship, making their red carpet debut at the 2026 Creative Primetime Emmys on Sept. 5.

Although sparks are flying between Tamburello—dad to 10-year-old son CT Tamburello Jr. with ex-wife Lilianet Solares—and Parks, 52, the former previously emphasized that their bond was purely platonic.

“I think that’s more wishful thinking,” the 46-year-old told E! News of fans shipping them at the time. “We had some laughs, we had some fun, but that’s it.”

While Tamburello—who split from his estranged wife, CatalinaWhite, in 2024—embraces his next chapter with Parks, he’s also been prioritizing his own well-being in recent years.

“So now I’m coming in focused on myself, focused on work, focused on my son, focused on getting my head right, getting back in shape, taking my life back,” he said on The Challenge: Double Agents Declassified in December 2020. “The dad bod era is over. It is now a fatherly figure, alright? That’s how we’re doing it.”
