Under his nom de wrestling Braun Strowman, food television star Adam Scherr was scheduled to make an appearance at Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s The Return of the Titan free show at the Ashippun, Wisconsin Fireman’s Picnic Saturday (July 11).
GLCW is where Scherr made one of his first appearances after being released by WWE back in 2021, and where he first worked as “The Titan”. Saturday at the Picnic, The Titan did more than just appear. He donned his red, white, and blue shorts and bandana, cued “Freebird”, ripped off his shirt and helped GLCW champ Kal Herro pick up a win despite being the “2” in a 2-on-3 handicap match against Drew Hernandez, Tony Evans & Tommy Boy.
There were chokeslams, lariats, and even a heel manager backing into ole KindEyes McChesticles while he was trash talking the former WWE Universal champ. Check it out.
Scherr/Strowman continues to tease comebacks while working on his USA Network show Everything on the Menu and other projects, saying just last month that he misses the locker room, the fans, and being in the ring, but not the “bull crap” that comes with it.
Hopefully that scratched the itch for Braun while he waits for WWE or someone else to wow him with a wrestling offer.
