Millions of children in the UK will be forced off social media after the government announced it would ban under-16s from accessing a range of platforms.

Apps including TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram will become inaccessible for children, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said.

"We hope to pass regulation before Christmas," he said, with the ban coming into force in spring 2027.

Tech companies including Meta, Snapchat and YouTube warned a blanket ban would move children into more unsafe online environments.

More than three months after the US and Israel first began their war with Iran, Washington and Tehran have reached an initial agreement to bring about a more long-term end to hostilities.

US President Donald Trump has said it paves the way for what he called the "toll-free" opening of the Strait of Hormuz. He called on ships to start their engines and "let the oil flow".

The full text of the deal has not yet been released. Pakistani mediators say the agreement will be officially signed in Switzerland on Friday 19 June.

A few years ago, I barely knew anything about Scotland’s national drink. However, after travelling around Scotland, exploring the Isle of Islay, visiting many Scottish whisky distilleries, and learning more about Scotch whisky, I have somehow become a serious whisky convert!

In this video, I travel to the Ardnamurchan Distillery, one of my favourite whisky distilleries, located on the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula on Scotland's wild west coast. I learn more about how Scotch whisky is made at Ardnamurchan, see parts of the whisky production process, try peated and unpeated whisky, and discover why this young Scotch whisky distillery has become so respected for its sustainability, transparency and incredible flavour.

From cask selection to bottling, labelling and trying the first dram back at the Ardnamurchan whisky distillery, this is a very special whisky documentary about launching my first ever whisky!

This week I’m exploring the Cowal Peninsula, often called Scotland's secret coastline. It's a part of Scotland I knew surprisingly little about, despite spending years travelling around the country.

I love discovering remote and lesser-known parts of Scotland, and Cowal felt like exactly that. A coastline of hidden beaches, historic castles, rainforest-like gardens and small west coast villages, all explored in my little red campervan, Ernie.

I hope that my little series about helping the unhoused reaches people who are empathetic. I didn't want it to be a vent video. Even though venting had to happen. I want you empaths to think twice before "doing your good deed". Some people do need help, but some people genuinely want to drag you down into the crab bucket so you can be in the doldrums with them.

Even when it is your true intention to pick them up and keep them out of the bucket. A lot of the time, they like the bucket. Sometimes prisoners like prison. Drug addicts like drugs.

People today are not the same people we dealt with 20-30 years ago. There is a darkness out there. I learned that helping someone without boundaries isn't kindness. It's enabling. You cannot save people who do not want to save themselves. I still believe in helping people, but never again without clear boundaries.

You know what I've noticed? Some people think kindness is weakness. It is not. I just believe in people until they give me a reason not to. After a month of being my guest, who, after a while, did pay some rent, she crashed my car.

She promised all along that she would rectify the situation. But there was never any intention of doing that. It was more like, "Stay at Gail's place until she realizes that you are a fraud."

My car was worth at least $12,000. I was only asking for $6,000 and not all at once. But honestly, there is a bigger problem in society right now. We have started treating accountability like it's optional. Somewhere along the line, people stopped feeling responsible for the consequences of their choices.
