Watch: Astrologer Aliza Kelly Reveals Her 2026 Predictions for Each Zodiac Sign
‘Cause, baby, now we got bad blood. Us, to the moon at the moment.
Because from the evening of Aug. 27 until the next day’s early hours, we’re going to experience the dark side of the moon due to a partial lunar eclipse. Allow astrologer Aliza Kelly to, uh, shed some light on the situation.
“Unlike a solar eclipse, where the moon passes over the sun,” the AstroloTea with Aliza Kelly podcaster explained in an exclusive interview with E! News, “what happens during a lunar eclipse is that the moon, instead of reflecting the light of the sun, reflects the shadow of the Earth called the umbra. So, it changes the color of the moon from our classic silvery, beautiful hue to this dark red umber tone.”
But it’s not just the moon that experiences a vibe shift.
“The moon represents our emotional inner world,” Kelly detailed. So, when it experiences some ch-ch-changes, “the way that we feel about something, our internal experience goes through a transformation, because we see something differently than we have ever seen it before.”
But just because the moon is entering its spooky era doesn’t necessarily mean we got problems.
While, yes, you may experience some really deep cuts, Kelly swears these kinda wounds won’t last and last.
“Eclipses are very powerful karmic turning points of the year, where we really are face-to-face with our fate, and we have to find ourselves on the path we’re supposed to be on,” shared The Constellation Club founder. Admittedly, “for some of us that could mean that we are dragged onto the path.”
The way she sees it, “eclipses open new doors by slamming others shut, which also means that eclipses can bring changes into our life that we wouldn’t have necessarily selected for ourselves. But through time, we understand that, oh, I really did need to leave that job or that relationship or that friendship in order for these opportunities to come through.”
Need proof the abundance is coming? Take a look what you’ve done the past two years.
This eclipse cycle started back on Sept. 18, 2024, said Kelly, with others in the series taking place in March and September of last year, plus this past March. And the finale is set for Feb. 20, 2027.

“This is a great opportunity to think about like what was going on in your life in September 2024,” shared Kelly, set to embark on her Haunted Tea Party: Spooky Season Astrology Tour Oct. 6. “How has your life changed and evolved? In what ways do you feel like you have been dragged and pulled and guided to these greater stories of purpose and destiny?”
As for what she sees in the stars, well, strap in.
With Uranus, the planet of unexpected surprises, involved in this eclipse, “When we talk about Uranus, we say expect the unexpected,” said Kelly, “and when we talk about eclipses, we say expect the unexpected.”
So, get ready for a one-two punch that could have you seeing stars. Shared Kelly, “This is an eclipse where we truly can be flipped on our head.”
Don’t flip out just yet, though. “Find that surrender,” she advised, “and find the trust to recognize that things can happen that we don’t know why they’re significant. But we have to trust that through time, we’ll get that information.”
And it’s not as if she’s fully leaving you in the dark. Allow her to illuminate what lies ahead.
