Watch: Special Forces: 3 Celebrities Make Their Exits During Shocking Episode
Alexia Umansky is reflecting on one of the darkest moments in her life.
During the Oct. 8 episode of Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, the daughter of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky spoke about a harrowing past experience for the first time publicly.Â
“Seven years ago I was on a trip with some friends and I was with people I trust,” an emotional Alexia told directing staff members Rodolfo “Rudy” Reyes and Jason “Foxy” Fox during a day three check-in, “and I was put to bed because I had a little too much to drink. And I woke up and I could tell something had happened.”
The 30-year-old continued, “I didnât even have the power to consciousness to say âno.â I felt completely objectified and I had a lot of pain and anger for that. At the one year mark, I decided that happiness is a choice and I was going to choose to put it away, but it still hurts.”
Rudy empathized with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s pain, but encouraged her to “find a way to use it in a positive way” and continue on in the grueling competition.
“I think if you do this truly for you,” he added, “you might just make it till the end.”
Alexiaâwho wed husband Jake Zingerman in September 2025âthen revealed she still hadn’t told her parents or siblings about the terrifying incident all these years later.
“I was taken advantage of,” she recounted in a confessional. “My family to this day does not know. When you bring other people into it, it just makes it a conversation and maybe a conversation was what I needed, but I just wasnât ready for that.”

Back at camp, Alexia relayed her deeply personal conversation with the staff to her fellow season five competitors, including dad Mauricio.
“I had something I went through that was definitely the hardest thing I went through,” she began, fighting back tears. “It’s hard to talk about because you don’t know. I was taken advantage of by a friend.”
Alexia added she wanted to protect her parents by not telling them, to which Mauricio replied, “I don’t know why you feel you would need to protect us from that.”

Despite years of internal struggles, Alexia assured her dad she’s finally on the road to recovery.
“I’ve definitely healed,” she added, “I’ve come a long way since then.”
