Last Monday, AEW announced they were heading back to Chicago for September’s All Out PPV again this year. That was the same day Tony Khan’s other pro wrestling promotion/brand Ring of Honor announced it’s Death Before Dishonor PPV at the end of next month for Philadelphia, another one of TK’s favorite cities in which to hold shows.
So when AEW today (Mon., July 13) announced that this November’s Full Gear will be in Phoenix this year after the 2024 and 2025 editions were in Newark, New Jersey, The Feed wasn’t the only place you could find comments like ivan6’s on the wrestle web:
Phoenix may not be a regular PPV sport for AEW, but Arizona’s capital isn’t an infrequent stop for the company. It’s hosted a television taping on four occasion, including this past January. Sat., Nov. 14’s Full Gear will be the first show AEW’s run in the 17,000-seat Mortgage Matchup Center (fka PHX Arena, fka the Footprint Center, and fka Talking Stick Resort Arena) since 2024, however. More recent AEW shows in Phoenix have taken place in Arizona Financial Arena, which holds 5,000.
You can early access to Full Gear ‘26 tickets this Friday (July 20), and they’ll be on sale to everyone next Friday.
Who’s up for some cowboy shit in the desert this fall?
