If you’re one of many people who got hopelessly addicted to Vampire Survivors, then you might want to keep an eye out for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, which launches on Switch on 9th October 2026.

Developed by Funday Games, DRG: Survivor launched in early access on 14th February 2024 before receiving a full release on Windows and Xbox Series X|S on 17th September 2025. It’s been well-received too, earning a score of 8/10 from IGN and 90% from PC Gamer, with the latter concluding its review with a line that will undoubtedly catch your attention:

“Vampire Survivors is no longer the king of the genre.”

So yeah, sounds pretty good. But what’s it all about? Well, as a spin-off of the 4-player co-op shooter Deep Rock Galactic, DRG: Survivor uses auto-shooting mechanics to fend off hordes of enemies, uncover valuable loot within the mines, and upgrade your characters with powerful new abilities.

It’s chaotic, it’s colourful, and it’s very pretty, so we’re really looking forward to checking this out on Switch.
