Watch: Gypsy Rose Blanchard Reveals Where She Stands With Ken Urker’s Sister
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is speaking her truth.
The Life After Lockup star accused her late partner Ken Urker’s sister AutumnSnyder of benefiting fromUrker’s Oct. 1 death.
“I’m grieving and the people that actually loved him are grieving,” Blanchard said in an Oct. 13Instagram video, “and I haven’t made a dime off of his death, neither has his mother or any of the ones that really loved him. Autumn, on the other hand?”
The 35-year-old—who shared daughter Aurora, 22 months, with Urker—then made a money gesture with her hand, adding, “Disgusting, disgusting.”
She later noted that she was disgusted to see Snyder “take this as an opportunity to cash in, because she did make some money to get to Louisiana,” although Blanchard noted that Snyder “was never here.”
Blanchard also alleged that Snyder and Urker were not close before his death from an apparent overdose. (His manner of death has not been determined pending toxicology results.)
“She’s never approved of our relationship,” she explained, “and she for the last six months has been giving us nothing but hell.”
Blanchard also noted that she “tried to keep quiet” and had even tried to make peace with Snyder but realized “it was not working out.”
In the caption, the author solidified her perspective. “Just because someone is family does not mean they are privy to every detail of a person’s life,” she wrote, “nor does it give them the right to speak on that person’s behalf.”

Over the past six months, according to Blanchard, Snyder would “publicly criticize” Urker on her social media livestreams, noting, “To now see her speaking to media outlets following his passing, after the way she publicly treated him while he was alive, is something I find deeply disturbing and disrespectful to his memory.”
E! News has reached out to Snyder for comment but has not heard back.
As for Blanchard, she shared that she wanted to remember Urker the way he deserved “for the man he was, the father he was, and the love he gave to those closest to him.”
“I will continue to protect Ken’s memory, speak about the man I knew and loved,” she wrote, “and advocate for the dignity and respect he deserved in life and still deserves in death.”
In the weeks since Urker’s passing, Snyder has spoken candidly about her relationship with her brother, claiming thatshe knew he slept with a weapon close by.

“He had to sleep with a gun every night,” she toldThe Daily Mail in an interview published Oct. 8, asserting that the decision was due to an onslaught of online “death threats” and getting “doxxed.”
Snyder also admitted that she and their mom RainaWilliams are not on the same page when it comes to Blanchard.
“When I spoke with my mother, she was in tears telling me that we have to be nice to Gypsy or she won’t let her see Aurora,” she continued. “My mom is a very forgiving person, and I’m just not at that stage right now.”
She also paid tribute to her brother after his death, posting a photo montage on TikTok and writing, “While I’m usually good at words… right now they hurt. I don’t know what to say. I miss you so much. I just wish I could go back to that night and talk to you a little longer. “
“Fly high, my big brother,” Snyder concluded. “We won’t forget about you down here.”
