Watch: Milania Giudice Apologizes to Mom Teresa Giudice After Airport Incident
Milania Giudice is putting herself first.
Several weeks after The Real Housewives of New Jersey star made headlines over a family altercation with mom Teresa Giudice and older sister Gia Giudice, the 20-year-old shared for the first time that she’s been quietly navigating a diagnosis with bipolar disorder.
“I do struggle with mental health issues,” Milania told followers in an Oct. 12 Instagram video. “I am bipolar. I struggle with depression, anxiety, PTSD and ADHD and I am not ashamed of any of my mental health disorders because I’m currently at a treatment center, my mom’s on her way to come visit me today.”
“I do work on myself, but you know what?” the Bravo star continued in her latest update, “I am only 20 years old and this summer hit me like a bus.”
Indeed, just two months after Milania was arrested for assault in Mayâshe has yet to enter a plea and the case remains ongoingâher best friend Victoria Zardoya died suddenly in July.Â
“A lot of things happened in a short amount of time and I’m trying to just process everything,” the University of Tampa student noted. “It’s really hard being in the public light while you go through things in life.”
Which is why Milania, whose manager confirmed in September that she was seeking treatment, now wants to publicly apologize to Teresa, sisters Gia, Gabriella and Audriana, as well as dad Joe Giudice and the rest of her friends and family as she focuses on getting her mental health back on track.
“I just want to say I’m sorry because I was grown up on pure respect, love and I just haven’t been showing the Milania that I want to show and I want to do better,” she added. “I want to continue working on myself and try to completely change everything I’ve been posting and everything because I want to help people in life.”
This isn’t the first time Milania has apologized to those closest to her amid her recent struggles. Just last week, she acknowledged the support she’s received from Teresa following an extremely trying year.

“The older I get the more I appreciate how I was raised and who I was raised by,” Milania wrote in her Oct. 6 Instagram Story. “You are the best, sorry mother.”
The young star’s loved ones were quick to rally around her with support.
“All of us are doing everything we can to support her as she navigates an incredibly difficult time in her life, particularly following the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria,” Milania’s manager and longtime family friend Maria DeSantis told E! News in a Sept. 24 statement. “She is currently surrounded by people who love her and is under the care of professionals who are working with her and her family.”
Of course, Milania certainly isn’t alone. Keep reading to see more stars who’ve gotten candid about taking care of the mental health.
